Paderborn, June 2018.
Today, digitisation is noticeable in almost all areas of work and is driven by modern process-oriented IT solutions. As a result, grid operators are creating a boosted efficiency, service orientation and security.
Mettenmeier GmbH and SPIE SAG GmbH have bundled their development capacities to meet these challenges. The aim is to significantly modernise the existing systems of both companies and to place them on a common platform. Thus, a sustainable solution will be developed for the customers of both companies that takes into account the latest security aspects, is scalable and is characterised by cutting-edge technology:
In the new development, the focus is on existing customers and their tasks in particular. This includes the clean transfer of data and its further use in the modernised system.
The basic components will be available for the first time in 2019, individual modules already earlier. As a pre-taste, finished partial solutions will be presented at the OPTIMUS user meeting. Here, customers will again have the opportunity to gain insights into current developments and actively contribute their experience.
